Marta María Pérez Bravo, Havana, 1959. She finished in 1979 her studies at the Fine Arts Academy of San Alejandro, entering further more at the Superior Institute of Art, being graduated in 1984.From her early years, she intervened in an original way in the progress and definition of this strange process, that nowadays manages to convert the photographic act in an exploring resource for which, maybe, the photography has been never prepared: to discover and catch with the lens the invisible mechanisms of the religious, mithologic and magic thoughts.She has made personal and collective expositions in Cuba and abroad. She also obtained national and international prizes and mentions. Her creation is in numerous collections in and outside the country.
