The exhibition “Sencillamente Korda” that pays tribute to famous Cuban artist was open at José Martí Memorial. The tribute includes a plastic arts exhibition by contemporary Cuban artists and a documentary by Roberto Chile, which reveals the unpublished testimony of Alberto Korda, author of the portrait of Che, considered the most widely reproduced image in the history of photography. The exhibition is made up of ten pieces by artists: Enrique Ávila, Jorge Luis Ballart, Nelson Domínguez, Francis Fernández, Javier Guerra, Lorenzo Linares, Kadir López, William Pérez, Mabel Poblet and Ernesto Rancaño; designer Jorge Rodríguez Diez is in charge of the poster. The exhibition, sponsored by Alas con puntas Project and the Alberto Korda Estate, will remain open to public until April 4.
